It was a withdrawal. If you look closely the previous chapter, the Eight Gods were trying to play to Ren's innate arrogance with a rigged easy battle, making her think that she could defeat them easily (which she can't) and make her overconfident when it matters most not to. They're playing the psychological battle and Ren fell hook, line and sinker because she's an arrogant witch nonetheless.
Then Yuuki and the slave system took her down a peg by not being affected by her preparations. Hope this makes her rethink things, but seeing how turned out last time...

I swear, the reason why this happens to her is that she's basically Gandhi in Civ games.

Her dominance trait is so maxxed out that the moment the reward system kicks in, integer overflow happens and her dominance trait goes to negatives and turns into subservience. Supported by the fact in this instance that she was so into the doggie play even though mentally she's tormented by it.

Can't wait for the mindbreak and her asking to be treated like a dog through her own volition. xD
