I’m no scientist, but a quick look at google says parents with blood types A and A, or A and O can have children with either A or O.

The story is good and paced well. I'm glad the author and artist are separate as well since that's less creative pressure. I hope they get more pages as the story goes on though... Seems like the writer is making too many concessions.
