This really is the author of Akame ga Kill alright. There was a similar, almost same exact scene in AgK with Tatsumi using Zank's Spectate Imperial Arms to inadvertently see all of the Night Raid's girls' underwear through their clothing. Though the ladies themselves didn't realize it, poor guy was so embarrassed about it too XD.
