Disadvantages? Dude, that's one of the most monstrous powers if you really think about it, in a melee fight she'd be invincible if she could absorb all your life force, so the only way to win is to instakill her from afar, and I don't think that would work if she had life force to spare, so that means a surprise attack would fail as well.

Yeah, but that means she has to actually get in melee with you without getting instagibbed (a very difficult concept when dealing with high tier Shuuki) and then grab a hold of you for an extended period of time. Also we have no concept of how quick her healing actually works, so it's entirely possible that even simply shooting her would work.
