I believe he did it so she could solo farm exp at higher return rate. He is already much stronger compared to current level, so she needed a boost. This is following same concept as omniscient reader's viewpoint so far though..

His level is not as weird as his movements are unnatural for a new player. He hasn't exhibited any shock/fear/panic and has made preemptive moves like following a script (understands hidden rules of safe zones - don't move on bus, keep shop door closed, etc.). Also seems to possess information no one in human realm should even be aware of yet like knowing about "Commandments".
Plus, we are not privy to notifications other players receive so it may well be that the guardians have expressed their attention/interest in the girl, just not revealed to us yet??
