Y'know, Lord Godwin was only doing what is fairly obvious, with sending a person to infiltrate another household. To be frank, it is kinda a demerit for her ducal house to not notice the slave brand during the initial hiring. With being a household very high up in the kingdom, as well as the daughter having a divine blessing, they should really be aware that their household has too much power compared to others.

In a critique of the the orders for assassination, it was a stupid move, as it revealed his mole as well as relying on an amateur. The order was given too late, as she had been unconscious for three days by the time the command was given. And Godwin should have done the bare minimum of an insurance beyond the geas for the sake of covering his ass.
