Spoiler: Speculation about future and best amount of chapters

Seems interesting, but if it will have more than 40+ chapters it will become a complete boredom.
I presume author plans (at least initially) to make them date and kiss(maybe) when he enters high school. If everything will last until chapters 40-49 it might be a decent rom-com if more we can expect a lot of shit.
Jokes are already being reused from chapter 1 to 4. By using every troupe (beach, school festival, sports festival and etc.) it can use every troupe to last to chapter 40-49.

Spoiler: MC is a disappointment

On the MC's side sadly until chapter 4 it wasn't shown why would anyone would fall for MC. He is good in PE but otherwise he is mentally disabled, having grades like that in middle school means that possibly it's best to drop school and to start working construction IF you aren't master in some PE activity. FMC on the other hand seems like his guiding light who toys with him.
In any case, he doesn't exhibit anything interesting as a person besides being a mentally impaired guy. And even his good PE seems like not something worth of mention, due to his slim figure at best he could be unparalleled marathon runner.

Author needs to quickly show readers some redeeming character points, chivalry towards a close female friend isn't a redeeming character point since i think majority of guys can exhibit it.
