Oh boy my favorite pass time, Complain About the Manga!! Where do I begin? These confessions are bullshit and the drama is forced. First off, what happened to Jirou not getting a girlfriend until his gynophobia was cured? Now all the sudden he realizes his feelings and forgets he can’t fucking touch a girl? Second, these confessions are forced. Masamune confessed to Jirou for god know why, it had no real build up and honestly it was rushed since they did a 1 month time skip. Then we have Konoe, at first I liked Konoe, don’t get me wrong she I shipped her at first, but now coming back for his series after watching the anime... I realize that she is just a trophy waifu. Why does she like Jirou? I’ve been pondering this for the longest, I can understand Masamune, and maybe Kanade, but Konoe likes him, why? Cause he befriended her? Cause they had a few ecchi moments? Literally there’s no real reason. Let me have a hot take on Jirou, HES THE MOST BLAND MC I’ve ever seen. This dude has no real personality other “Oh no, my gynophobia!!”. He has no real traits other than “sTAnd BY mE” and he just isn’t an interesting person. What makes them fall for him? Masamune is probably the only one with a valid reason, seeing that he saved her life. But the others just... like him for some reason. Sigh, I use to like Mayo Chiki, but I’ve come to realize it is the most mid romance manga. I wish Jirou didn’t have this dumb gynophobia and that he had a real personality. Everyone feels so cookie cutter. Jirou could be replaced with any of the background characters and I’d bet these girls would fall in love with them instead. That’s how pointless Jirou’s existence is. Can’t wait to finish this manga...
