Watch the anime long time ago, it was embarrased
Mayoi improved it since she like the skinship/bonding scene with Subaru and make the interaction better.
The maid team also is more likeable than the original cast

Much thanks for finishing this! I had no idea this was released before the anime. I might just rewatch the Anime, to see if Mayoi was in it as a background character. I don't remember seeing her as a speaking role.
I finished the Mayoi Chiki manga a while back and remembered thinking it was worse than the Anime adaption. It finished the story (thankfully) but I remember feeling a bit underwhelmed. When the Anime didn't have a second season, I was sad. But seeing how the manga progressed, I'm not entirely sure if a second or third anime season that finished off the story would've been all that good.
At any rate, much thanks to the translator for finishing this spin-off. It was a great translation, and I have a soft spot for all things Mayo chiki, so I'm glad to be able to read it at all. This spin off got too repetitive near the end (formulaic) but it had its own charm (especially in the beginning) and I don't regret reading.
