@Elmithian Morgan le Faye (the most famous fairy queen in Arthurian lore) was a stalker, pedophile, human trafficker, incest practicer (in some iterations,) witch, rapist, and mass-murderer who helped overthrow a kingdom led by her own brother leading to his death. She was also an imperialist who tried to conquer foreign lands (Egypt and India) before it was fashionable. And her political hijinks to conquer lands led to something like 6 or 7 of her sons dying (the only one who survived is the one who shows up in Shakespeare, who stole the char fair and square from Huon de Bordeaux and Ysaie le Triste... ) And she threw away her aforementioned disabled kid to die (Oberon lived by basically becoming a slave in human world in his source material for at least a few decades before crawling back. He had to get beaten, work as a court dwarf, and sleep in stables.) She also brainwashed Ogier the Dane and stole him away to be a sex slave on the eve of his wedding and coronation... After lusting for him and stalking him since he was a literal baby. And she loved to kidnap underage boys and keep them prisoner for reasons you can guess. Both of her sons are implied to have her knowledge of love potions, but halfway-decent one uses it for pranks in ancient Athens rather than sex crimes. The other one got yeeted off a cliff by a victim's son when he grew up... And that kid's name? Albert Einstein- I mean, Alexander the Great.

No, really.

Medieval fairy lore is a hilarious mess.

People woobify Morgan and use her as a char because fairies make fun characters and she's the only one most people have heard of.

But she's like totally a pedo and slavetrader in her source works.

Snake eggs are soft and would not crack like chicken eggs. He would have noticed right away.
