yeah this tends to be with trend with harems, the narrative tends to prefer the exploits of an aforementioned "main girl", which means more interactions with the mc, which means more likely to win

That was my main issue at Toradora as well. Writers shouldn't make cute girls tonlater on destroy us via them. That s just cruel..
