Does this looks bad to you? Animation looks decent, 3D blends well with 2D elements and the backbone of the show, voice actors are on fire... It will be good.
Fortunately , they looks good. The unfortunate part is, they tended to run out of steam midway. More so anime with a lot of motions. I hope this is just me being paranoid. :notlikethis:

20 years from now it will get a fire remake I bet… just make it good now though eh
Just gotta wait for japan to have another figure skating olympic medalist and this'll get a proper adaptation, at worst a spiritual successor hopefully with characters we can come to care about as much as the ones in this series

it's insane this is the first time hikaru fell in a competition, girlie really is a progidy. i can see her becoming more inconsistent from now on and having a big conflict with jun about it. i wonder if there's any possibility of her being coached by tsukasa, it would be interesting (but unlikely)

iruka nooo this was unexpected, i hope is just a sprain and nothing more serious

ty for the translation!!

also i have to say this everytime but the way tsurumaikada portrays skating is insanely good. i doubt the anime is gonna deliver even a fraction of the dinamism and power their art has

hmmm I don't like that we have to get rid of Iruka this way, but I guess the only realistic way for Inori to win against her at this stage is just that one, let's hope this is just a minor injury and they can compete later.

I know Iruka finally managed to accept that Mika is truly gone and was able to reaffirm her love for skating just recently, but I still want to see an Iruka Mika reunion so badly.... 🥺
Praying that Iruka's injury isn't too serious 😭🙏

One little detail I noticed, the international competition Inori won was over the USA girl who got 1st and 2nd place for 28 points total!
She must have improved by a lot then 😭
Didn't see that. Excited to see her progression next chapter.

I noticed the manga didn't show Iruka's score, when she got an injury it all made sense.

The pacing of this chapter was a bit confusing to me. The chapter starts with a 6 min practice session before Hikaru’s run then she goes to the locker rooms to stretch and watch Iruka’s run but it turns out this is Iruka’s group’s practice session where she falls so she never even gets to do her run. There must have been a decent amount of time after Hikaru’s run (who is 1st) to Iruka’s (14th) practice but it’s not conveyed well
