Fortunately , they looks good. The unfortunate part is, they tended to run out of steam midway. More so anime with a lot of motions. I hope this is just me being paranoid.Does this looks bad to you? Animation looks decent, 3D blends well with 2D elements and the backbone of the show, voice actors are on fire... It will be good.
Just gotta wait for japan to have another figure skating olympic medalist and this'll get a proper adaptation, at worst a spiritual successor hopefully with characters we can come to care about as much as the ones in this series20 years from now it will get a fire remake I bet… just make it good now though eh
I watched the first episode on hulu this afternoon. It was great!I'm so excited for the anime, but looking at the studio's track record .....![]()
Didn't see that. Excited to see her progression next chapter. One little detail I noticed, the international competition Inori won was over the USA girl who got 1st and 2nd place for 28 points total!
She must have improved by a lot then 😭
The pacing of this chapter was a bit confusing to me. The chapter starts with a 6 min practice session before Hikaru’s run then she goes to the locker rooms to stretch and watch Iruka’s run but it turns out this is Iruka’s group’s practice session where she falls so she never even gets to do her run. There must have been a decent amount of time after Hikaru’s run (who is 1st) to Iruka’s (14th) practice but it’s not conveyed wellI noticed the manga didn't show Iruka's score, when she got an injury it all made sense.
Unnecessary now. We were so lucky. The anime was perfection incarnate.20 years from now it will get a fire remake I bet… just make it good now though eh
I have a hard time accepting this, as it feels like a plot convenience for Inori’s victory. However… it mirrors reality well. Even Olympians have failed to perform due to injury. It really is such a fickle sport, where spontaneous injury can change the paradigm of proposed winners in mere seconds.ooof
that's a way to have inori beat iruka alright...
the ending was painful to read but i'm glad they share so many cute moments together now 😭😭
The anime was a masterpiece. It did what it needed to do, and exceeded expectations.Everyone expect ENGI studio to fell in this adaptation (including me), but its the reason I read this underated masterpiece 😭. Sure some scenes were Skipped and the ice dance was CGI, but its smooth and the music was wild. Some manga readers won't like it, but I will say its the anime that changed me deeply despite only 5 episode released
It appears we skipped over many skaters runs, and the author did not convey the results for their performances. He’s honing in on the main cast, and will tell us the results at the end. I see where the confusion comes from though. The pacing of this chapter was a bit confusing to me.
