I think it's always good to genuinely support the dreams of kids. Sure they'll come up with some insane stuff that's likely to fail but if you take them seriously and provide genuine thought out advice, including the reality of the risks, they'll either A) take it seriously and work towards it not just as a pipedream but as their real plan, or B) realize it's way too much of a pain and change their mind. Either way I'd call it a win.
