the only thing that stresses me out, is that Sakurai will continue with her "treating Tachibana like a cute little animal" with the cheek squeezing and whatnot while she's "deliberating" on her feelings, just out of habit - and it'll cause no small amount of dissonance within Tachibana, and might be a point of drama between them to extend out the narrative a bit more.

But, I don't think the waiting period will go on that long, and I don't think any additional tension/strife will be dragged out, either - so hopefully we're treated to some amount of post-confession Yuri Lovey Dovey Goodness before the end of this one.

I found the constant cuts to the bartender really distracting. I'm not normally an "eww, boys" type in these stories, but we see that guy eight times right in the middle of a pivotal confession scene. If he's not up to something that's a serious misfire of Chekhov's Gun.

I think it's just a cute "background characters react to confession" type thing. He's right there so obviously he can hear them, and he's hoping it goes well for this couple. It's the opposite of an evil and intimidating horse

What QuantumCroissant said, and also "visual soundtracking." I could hear the drink shaker, the liquids pouring, ice clinking, etc. The guy starts shaking right when Sakurai holds Tachibana's hand and calls it a date. Then Tachi drops the confession right as the shaker stops. Sound cuts out like a drumroll. That part at least was a nice touch.

Awesome... So, going by her reaction, Sakurai really didn't know the things she made Tachibana feel that way huh? I did think she confessed rather early, but theres just that nice taste to a (semi) drunken confession you know? (At least I assume, since we see the little drunk bubbles next to Sakurai for a panel)

I dont think it'll take long for them to a tually get together, it's more so a case of Tachibana having to know more about Sakurai and her background so she can better accommodate Sakurai then anything. Please I really hope this doesnt mean the series will end soon
