People might not assume its a fetish but a type. I think anyone would be fine with hearing a type of person they like such as glasses, short hair, brown eyes etc.

A type is still a fetish, I think- the heart of any fetish is elevating something to special status. If there's a difference, it's that some of them are so vanilla they seem banal. Tall guys, curvy ladies, or nice smiles, are so ubiquitous we don't bother to point them out. But they're still a subject of special status.
