Luckily I am degenerate enough to explain the last pages to whoever reads this, since there was no tl/n where needed:
Pi is pronounced like the "pai" in "oppai" (japanese for breasts, where pai can sometimes be used as slang). So the book has two "oppai", as does the girl reading it, and this awesome pun captures his attention, and he can't help but exclaim awe at how great of a bad joke it is. The mc however has no humor, and clearly gets mad when she sees bad jokes and ppl who like them, so she assaults the guy for laughing at it.
Sadly I wasnt degenerate enough to get it instantly, and it took a long time to figure out wth it was about. At first I were thinking if the joke was that pi/pi=1, making it "the book of one" written in a convoluted way, but thats hardly even worth being called a joke, so I doubted that. When I figured it out I felt a tl/n ought to have been made there.
