School doesn't teach them, and the only way we learn their existence is through word of mouth, roleplay, or entertainment (tv, videos, etc.)... yet here I am reading other countries laws out of boredom (seriously I know Japan's laws better than my own country's because I was curious for a time of just how many laws were broken)
