Heh, I heard of cases where the prosecutor use lyrics from a rap songs to link rappers to murder cases but this is something else...

I would be amazed if the police managed to uncover the truth just by hearing the lyrics. I think the culprit was being extremely paranoid for a crime he already got away.

Fun case though.

Yeah, Two-Mix is based on a real group, and they sang one of the anime opening. One of the member is Takayama Minami who appeared as herself in this case and, as mentioned above, is the VA of Conan.
That's why Mitsuhiko said her voice is similar to Conan and why he tried to fill in for her.
