This isn’t how you treat someone you’re supposed to be friends with, let alone your employer. Not only did she steal from him, she obviously got ripped off. How is he supposed to trust her when her judgement is this poor?

It wouldve been good if he got genuinely mad/sad because of it, but didn't show it. Maybe the next few days he wouldn't eat and she puts 2 and 2 together and realizes how her selfish actions hurt people. But nah it's just a shrug and a "oh you :/" and moving on. Bad character development, tbh.

I would be surprised if this doesn't become a point of conflict, because it seems like Mike (and plot armor) is the only thing keeping her out of poverty.
