wtf with them always aiming to the ones that woman imprison -_-
also the old woman will be the end of this family.
MC's family probably would expect at least some respect, even if they themselves don't like MC, this marriage is still a political connection, how they treat MC is how they see her family.
and there is also her friend's family, and his connection with MC's family, it should be more complex than it appear.
can the old woman treat than this badly for no reason?
even if she has given that guy anything, for political reasons anyone with a brain would have solved it without making noise.
but here they are, not only went into physical punishment towards MC, they even are keeping the guy like some criminal.
