Like I've said, depends on the dog. My dog will just stare at me blankly while lying down on top of the couch, and if I go to sit down, then she'll jump off and turn around to put her back to me, basically indicating that I should just st art massaging it.

She only acts excited for older women who are moms. Anyone else (including younger women who aren't mothers she doesn't really act excited for. Then again, she was rescue dog with an abusive (male) first owner and was rescued by an older woman / mother, so its probably due to her experiences growing up.
