Technically, Android and ChromeOS are Linux as well, and OSX is a 'Nix fork (BSD I think?) which is why it also has a terminal app, on Macs at least. Also, Android Emulators on PC and Mac, and Microtransactions and gambling being shoved into consoles and PC's and every game nowadays means that the lines are blurred lately.
Even full priced $60 games "Triple Dip". Full priced game, microtransactions and DLC, and also a monthly sub-style "Season Pass".
All that said though, Console and PC games tend to have less of the gacha gambling nonsense, whereas mobile has the most, so there's that. It's not if you get that kind of nonsense, it's how much of it you get.
