for some reason this scene made me think that, for once, i wanna read a bunch of ugly/average/mob looking mfs in a group as the main characters in a world where every single extra is a handsome dude or a bombshell beauty.

& i don't mean average looking like your typical black-haired simp japanese guy who's obvs a self-insert.

i want average/ugly in all shapes, gender, nationality, etc. & the only thing they share is that they're totally forgettable backdrops.

same with the extras. like, not generically beautiful and sparkly, i want em drawn & styled with real character where they're varied enough to cater to different people's aesthetics. memorable enough to spawn fan theories & fics on their possible future role in the series, but they will all, without exception, be forgotten after a few panels or so.
