Okay MC is not an asshole, he is just crazy. And I am totally fine with that, just was a little bit confused with his actions in last chapters.

Okay so why did mc even reincarnate? So far what we've seen of his intentions are gathering strong comrades and... nothing else? At this point it doesn't even seem like he did it for the sake of his old comrades who died or anything considering the way he constantly manipulates his new comrades. Unless I'm being dumb and missing something (which is usually the case tbh) the author has spent the last 24 chapters not giving us any way to empathize with or understand the mc's actions
