@daedalron i think it would depend since high rank would also come with power and if we assume he's able to get that power much quicker than training for several years or gaining both it's not that bad a train of logic. it would kinda be like temporary solution that's much quicker to attain while he builds up his strength. it would also be easier to spread his reputation of strength much quicker as well.
