@FleurChat @eng1 I mean he already cut pieces off of it, so they proved you can do it with lightning. It may be painfully, but you can chip away at it while using holy electroshock therapy. You just need to control the shock.
The only reason she still has it is he did not want to continue experimenting removing it on her once he got a piece of it off (as previous chapters stated). His thought bubbles implied he wanted different test subjects just to be safe.... and here they are. The only thing difficult, from what has been implied thus far, seems to be learning the procedure. And he seems to almost be done with that just by learning its weakness
