I get where his mother is coming from and its not uncommon. However, the fact she sees the father's face instead of a child is where I gotta draw the line. She could have easily given up the child if she didn't want to see the birth father's face anymore.

Yeah I don't buy that excuse at all. She's just a bad parent. Parents divorce all the time without one of the parents hating their children because they look like their ex.
