IJin is literally in "berserk mode", after realizing that the family of the diplomat who took him in was killed (the diplomat's scientist husband is "dead inside").

And between you and me, killing some paid sycophants who support chaos-makers is perhaps comforting. Imagine if IJin could stop a war with that? After all, the numbered ones are working against an arms dealer.

Google Translate probably pretty much just takes whatever word people have used the most often. Trafficker is totally correct and probably has connotations better for what you're trying to express, but for some reason "arms dealer" is a usage you see quite a bit more often than "arms trafficker" and so Google Translate gave you the lowest common denominator.
