This is a goddamn YuriHime manga for shit's sake, and the story ends with a girl resigning herself to an unhappy marriage because "he's not a bad guy."

@MrMcNasty I think that's a lot of people in general if we're being honest, and I'm talking IRL. A lot of people just find ways to make themselves miserable, and there's other factors with society and so fourth that play into this. Also unfortunately stories like this do happen IRL.
