I wouldn't be surprised if JP stadium food was better than just hot dogs here (seen interesting korean vlog stuff too) tho i'd be worried about making a mess (tho, despite meshinuma's 'erotic eating' faces, he hasn't rly spilled other than the times he almost face planted into a bowl of ramen bc he was drunk)
Hopefully she gets paid a lot since 'tipping' isn't a thing in JP lol (although i'm sure some 'sly' girls might cutely flirt for some bonus but that's a whole nother convo
damg even with a towel (although i guess that's not effective), i know some ppl burn easily but given that meshinuma doesn't go on outings like these surprised he wouldn't have had sunscreen, unless it's bc he rarely goes out in extended time to have it on hand versus like some places just having like quick spray on sunscreen for sale as well XD

Given how Japan /Asia has “skin whitening” products and stuff I wouldn’t be surprised if they had high quality sunscreen that’s not greasy if not a quick spray on one, I’ve never felt anything too Oily but I’ve never had to put on a thick layer have sunscreen above spf30 (idk if it goes higher than 100) tho I’ve only rly worn it if the UV level is over five but I’m usually not out In public long enough to tan or burn
I’ve heard JP beer tastes “lighter” but wonder if some would have sake or other cocktails or so lol tho seems like it’d be a bad idea for extreme sports fans to get tipsy esp if there are rival teams with fans on both sidesMan why does beer always gotta look so fucking refreshing when i know it tastes like shit

@EchoGirl and anyone else need to check this one manga Ballpark de Tsukamaete!. Its actually a manga about the server girls in a baseball stadium in japan and as a picky reader but lover of SoL genre, its a great read. It may got answers on your question of their pay. Hate that it rarely got an update tho.

haven't read that but i have seen this yuri? series https://mangadex.org/title/a86d367c-2ba8-49f0-8cfd-23569aec4c72/chow-time-at-the-ballpark, albeit kinda like an ad , but personally i'd more likely go to a game for the food/with a friend than pay too much attention to the sport itself, if not some kinda 'outfield' where more than one event/sport was happening lol
mascots aside, i'm surprised not to see 'baseball'/sports themed idols or so, would make for some half time performance as well
