@midnight2630 It's usually used for suspense, but the artist used it wrong lol. Normally you draw that kind of thing at the end of the chapter for a cliffhanger... except we already knew this was gonne be a one-sided battle, so the blood spatter was effectively worthless.

TLDR author probably doesn't have an editor to look over his/her work

@TehSDragon yeah, with this we can already know the author is the kind who likes to exaggerate things...
when someone really do get hurt, the whole page will be blooded (they only cut their finger)
If the cut was made by paper, the blood will spash on our face from the computer screen lol
