Well he does have a creator god on his side, and he's most likely stronger than the creator god of that world.

BTW, the Demon King isn't afraid of the MC, he just doesn’t want a one-sided beating because his curse prevents him from attacking back.

That's not quite right. The curse would make it so he dies, if he kills someone of his species. He can kill anyone, but if he kills one of the 7 races he is part of, he is dying as well. And technically he could kill Inori without issues. He just doesn't know that yet.
