My diet list was starting to get too long. Anyway. Oatmeal w PB + fruit, Cheerios w milk maybe fruit, Eggs all the ways.
Canned fish (sardines, tuna, salmon), Chicken, Beef anything (before but less now), fresher fish (if can afford it), obviously grains added with most of those (used to be white rice/regular pasta, now whole grain versions). Potatoes in any way (used to not eat the skin but do now).
Veggies with all of the above whenever I can. Frozen bagged brussel sprouts are really good. Fresh spinach (again if I got it) added into anything or used as a topping for stuff like grilled chicken sandwich or salmon patties or with eggs.
Bean rice whatever bowl usually includes other protein source (fish, steak, chicken) & peppers+red onions/stuff.
Haven't really tried tofu but probably will since cooking beef is too greasy & done with it. Pork I don't eat much of cause same but sometimes.
Been shifting to healthier. Used to eat more beef less fish, less veggies and no whole grain versions of stuff. Especially cut out almost entirely heavily proccessed meats like sausages & deli meats even though cold sandwiches were fast+easy+tasty. So no breakfast sausage/bacon w my eggs or pepperoni when I get pizza.
Cheese I've been cutting back too but still eat probably way too much of it. Pretty much cut out useless dessert foods like cookies just empty calories. Quit sugared beverages years ago because was getting really unhealthy & they're terrible. Plain water 90%, milk/coffee/alcohol 10%.
