The world clearly has lower standard in literature as JB's poorly written plagiarized story scored such a big hit overnight.
From there we could have drawn lines that the world has lower progress compared to our world.
Power and money also speaks very loud in China from what I've heard so it's not really being portrayed wrongly albeit to an extent.

it s nothing to surprise if E has ISSTH but A doesnt. this doesnt mean A is low standard and progress.
