Considering that "original script" is a complete fabrication made up by angry western shippers, I doubt they even know there are people out there that think such an "original script" exists in the first place.

Meh, it’s really just speculation from deleted footage from the first preview, which did show an older Kasumi/Misty. But there is a lot of off the wall shit that was thrown around too; apparently the movie was going to be the definitive end of the anime, Pokémon weren’t real, 10 year olds are considered adults in that world, etc...
None of that makes it canon of course, although many treat it as such for whatever reason

It's not "deleted footage", it's footage that goes with the song the "preview" is a music video for. The footage shows Voyager, who's played by Sachiko Kobayashi, the adult singer in the song, and a little girl representing Juri Ihata, the child singer in the song. None of this was ever meant to be obtuse or speculation material, it just ended up that way among westerners that have no idea who those two people are in the first place.

That makes the most sense, though I don’t think they ever released it. Wasn’t it basically letting everyone know the show and movie were safe after the Poygon debacle, or was that more baseless speculation?

No, it was a bonus feature on a couple of the rental VHSes from early 1998. Its purpose was to be a combined music video for the at-the-time-current ending song/plug for the upcoming movie.
