I think this comments section is amazing in that it's basically one collective "finally, a main character that isn't unrealistic in either direction". It's hard proof that the average reader who enjoys isekai in manga/WNs/LNs really is that starved for a normal character and situations that feel believable, despite the fact isekai protagonists are supposed to be "normal" when they start out.

It also proves most of these authors are weirdo repressive. They constantly write characters into situations where sex should happen and the MC just wusses out for no reason. Scummy? She deserved it. She's the one who made Mimi believe that sex is at least half of the reason Hiro saved her, and it's absolutely Mimi's duty to provide it, as long as she's hoping to be a part of his crew. That's why an inexperienced person in Mimi's tragic position immediately visited Hiro's room to offer herself to him. Without Elma's interference and putting such thoughts into Mimi's head, it's likely such development would have occurred normally maybe weeks or months later, after she had settled in and had actually fallen for his Han Solo-like charms.
