Mei is cute and all but I'd still be concerned about Google spyware/Microsoft telemetry calling back home. MC should not have divulged his secrets until he could independently verify she was not compromised in some way. Thanks for the scanlation.

The author takes a really lighthearted approach to it but, when you think about it, Hiro's situation is pretty fucked up.
He either traveled to a different reality that is similar to a game he used to play with seemingly no way to go back to his homeworld or his memories, his entire past, is pretty much a fabrication and he was dumped in the middle of space like that. Someone or something rewrote his entire memory while giving him his beyond absurd piloting skills and his "slow-mo" like ability. If this story had at least some seriousness to it, our MC would have had an existential crisis long ago, and it would have dragged on for a long time.

A simple telemetry shouldn't leak your password, unless they have full access to all the files but I suppose they shouldn't have because of a simple reason: they'd soon be out of business.
One day somebody discovers some noble's secrets were in some leak because company didn't keep them safe: the whole company would sink.

It's like when I don't enable access to the GUI of my router from the WAN(outside local network) even if I need to change some settings every now and then.
Because it's too simple to hack it one way or another.

And there's actually no way for the maid to stream all the data in real time since they are in space and not on a fiber internet.

Also, thx for translation.
Now back to taking care of my cat (long night ahead).

Tbf, I'd be grateful if some dude did that to me. Get super ship, loads of money, chance to meet new friends (yes, you the old guy at the mercenary guild🤣).
Existential crisis? You're assuming he didn't have one before coming to this world 🤔

Mei is officially Best Girl, and only because she not only simply accepted everything MC said at face value, she also began to help him deconstruct the whole thing in hopes of helping him figure it out. A real digital beauty of a person.

If I had been in MC's shoes, I would have been all, "Oh, simulation theory! Yeah, that was all the rage for a while back home. Our philosophers got into some pretty wild shit."

For a science fiction setting, it would actually make a lot of sense to have either isekai’d to or from a simulation, so much so that I would expect that to be a big act 3 reveal instead of casually dropped in conversation.

For those wondering, AI like Mei and Miro (the resort manager) are pretty much categorized as living beings, meaning that their thoughts and memories their own. Information being taken from her is like trying to extract the information out of Hiro's brain. Also Mei best girl.

I think even if Mei really did send his info or the "motherbase" steal his info, i got a hunch that those AI will side with him...

They go into more detail about Hiro transfer, not into the details, but vol 5 novel explains his constitiution. And when foxgirl joins his harem, his abilities origins are explained.

And his transfer is not a simulation, rather spacetime fabric rip/tear. Confirmed in novel.

In vol 5, the emperor says past "visitors" happened before. Due to Hiro breaking spacetime, he creates a singularity that causes all sorts of "events".

when fox girl joins in vol 8 or 9, she explains the energy generated or accompanying hiro transfer through spacetime is massive potential energy which a portion stays in his body giving him insane powers like magic and accelerated body, universal language.

Reminds me of the maidroids in intergalactic overlord, they basically have a forum section dedicated on praising collecting pictures of their master.
