While the delivery and attitude wasn't ideal, this time I'm with Mc's thought of not going with it. If he did, she and probably the rest of Girasole would think of him as a scumbag not different to the count because it would be taking advantage of the apology of their leader. Even if he wanted to plow her, it's better to refuse in this situation and build their relationship further so that next chance he gets she's fully onboard and more chances arise afterwards (specially since she now knows he's fine with it). Sometimes the best way to get your dick wet is not getting it wet, who knew?

As for the WN, think of it as an AU - more often than not it doesn't count in adaptations due to changes.
