Big thank you to the scanlator for scanlating.
I read up to Ch.23 till I realised, the water in the ocean isn't seawater, it's dogwater.
I don't like this manga because it dissed sharks. No manga in my mind is good if it pays it's heed to animals like this. Especially sharks. Sharks are cool. My name starts with an S. Like SHARKS. and SA-ME's.
I don't know what to think of the MC, but I do wish he was more.. eh?? There's nothing interesting thing about him at all. He wants a cool boat and the only thing he does is buy and sell and no more? The women around him and he doesn't make a move? A money-minded person perhaps? A coward? Don Quixote? Someone who values his boat more? The world's GOD even wanted him to do something interesting even, and all that he did was just move to a different island.
I get that it could be a slow-moving isekai enjoyment manga, but when the manga proposed boats, and does nothing of interest with it, why bother? It could be anything, boat adventure shenanigans, Boat enthusiasm, Fishing, Diving, Uninhabited Island Explorers, building Noah's Ark, Pirates, or hell, maybe he wants to be the captain of the titanic maybe. Buying a luxury boat because it seemed nice is like buying milk chocolate because it looked good in the fridge. Needs more Boative to it.
Same could be said about the world, nothing about it springs itself to me other than it feels like a cookie-cutter fantasy world, but it's instead seperated by oceans. It could be about how the world flooded and people all around see the water as this "unknown beast" and the guy just waltz through it all like nothing. Honestly, It's shocking to see what a world it could have been utilizing BOATS. But from what I've seen so far, all we have is the ocean. When Venice, Italy. Bangkok, Thailand. Amsterdam, Netherlands exists! I would bet that even Japan itself would have some sort of unique "water-esque" transportation somewhen.
...."Faster than a shark", I'm dropping this manga like a drowning man in the ocean.
