Mikhail the same thing as keisuke when he see AE86 for first time
It was really different than previous race because he was overtaken by Gutter run from Kanata but he was focused against Sawatari, not Kanata at that time. Also, Kanata already lost his tire grip back then and he cant battle with them at all but he get lucky due Sawatari and Beckenbauer keep fighting on last section which closing his gap and finished in 2nd position.
This one is very different since Sawatari is far behind and only Emma with Kanata in the front, he can feel the presence of real threat from Kanata despite he already beat Kanata several times but the real danger is activated right now.
What he realize is Kanata drive on poor performace 86 with H-shift pattern (very ancient against all cars with Paddle-shift) and extremely lack of power yet he manages to keep up with him. This will be his main focus against Kanata since Sawatari become his less priority on final race.
