OH IT SAYS "MIA IS BACK" LMAOOOOO
I'm glad I am not the only one who made this mistake and then realised I just misread...

Also, is it just me or do Mia and Sunbae girl (forgot her name...) go along suspiciously well? First two harem members confirmed or is it just a red herring?

@PreStoneX what does "social welfare" mean in this context? Where I'm from it means you're on government assistance because you live in poverty.

The university's Department of Social Welfare girls are at war with the Department of Media and Communication girls.

But what is a Department of Social Welfare in this context?
Department corresponds to unit inside School/College (not to be confused with University). Think School of Social Welfare and School of Media and Communication. The School of Social Welfare is likely for for people who are studying to become counselors and other social workers. (Sometimes you'll see Faculty used in Japanese works which is also confusing since most of the time in the US that refers to the employees in the school.)

I asked Gemini about the difference between colleges, schools, and departments at a university:

In the world of higher education, these terms describe the administrative hierarchy of a university. While usage can vary slightly between institutions, they generally represent different levels of organization, from the broad to the specific.

1. College

A College is typically the largest administrative division within a university. It groups together several related academic disciplines. Each college is usually headed by a Dean.

  • Scope: Very broad.
  • Focus: A "College of Arts and Sciences" might house everything from Physics to Philosophy.
  • Examples: College of Engineering, College of Business, College of Nursing.

2. School

The term School is more flexible and can be used in two primary ways:

  • As a synonym for "College": Some universities prefer the word "School" for large divisions (e.g., "The Harvard Business School").
  • As a unit within a College: Often, a specialized program within a larger college is called a school to give it a distinct identity, especially if it is a professional program.
  • Examples: A School of Music inside a College of Fine Arts, or a School of Journalism inside a College of Liberal Arts.

3. Department

A Department is the smallest and most specific administrative unit. It focuses on a single academic discipline or a very closely related group of subjects. Departments sit underneath colleges or schools and are usually led by a Department Chair or Head.

  • Scope: Narrow and specialized.
  • Focus: Hiring faculty, designing specific course curricula, and managing degree requirements for a specific major.
  • Examples: Department of Chemistry, Department of History, Department of Aerospace Engineering.
