confusing due to a lot of vague dialogue. But I think what's important to grasp is they really care for them as friends and want the best for them. Perhaps since the main duo is going out now, there might be foreseeable issues that these friends what to look out for? Or maybe these friends have their own romantic feelings they're trying to deal with? Or maybe it all comes down to "change" as well where all these characters want to move forward and here we have our main duo doing just that while the others haven't quite gone through such an experience. I feel like this chapter was a kind of stopping point to reflect on how the main duo becoming a pair affects the ones closest to them.
Someone pointed out in a previous comment that a lot of this vagueness has to do with the japanese language, which I agree is likely the issue here. It's such a great and complex language.
