This stupid plot point needs to die. The whole schtick is she has one-sided feelings for him, but refuses to say the actual words to him. She's not even inviting him out anymore after realizing he'll never take their outings as dates unless she says it outright. Now we're wasting extra chapters just watching her turn down an actual romance? Fuck outta here.
