The fact that multiple of these things have wanted to know whether she can see them leads me to believe that letting them know you can probably isn't a good fucking idea. It indicates some form of intelligence that they can understand that someone might be able to see them and it's rare enough where they desperately want to know if someone can.

Then you get shit like that one monster that was eating the other things that were in line and... Yeah.

I said it before, but she found out that they don't like hand sanitizer, so I'm surprised she hasn't tried anything with that since. If I were her and I found out that hand sanitizer was some kind of irritant to them, I'd find lab grade pure chemicals and start spraying to see if it worked.
(Although Miko didn't see this and it's kinda implied to be merely a joke, supposedly the perfume from the nurse killed one of the things, too. Time to stock up on alcohols and solvents and other chemicals and break out the proton power pack squirt gun.)
