I’m surprised how the author managed to tuck in the symbolism in this chapter. In just a few pages, she connected “maximizing force for massage” to “severing ties with one’s other half to exact revenge.” All while advancing the plot!

The story keeps getting better and better, as much as I love to see them united, it's really interesting with both brothers no longer acting as one force.
