i think it would be a bit too easy to just give the gen ed dep. the win after all this tension and build up, so I imagine there's gonna be a big ol confrontation with the worlds largest hater vs the sisters and the president. i'd def prefer it if they just got the win, but it could go either way

I mean if they win atp i dont think we can call it a bamboozle on the authors part, they've done a good job showing that the gen-ed department has a genuine chance at winning id say, and given compelling enough reasons for why they would attract an audience.
Could still go either way tho, either way, no redemption for the chairwoman.

Aww... I kinda wanted a classic "having a taste of another person's crepe" trope. IIRC they had something similar during the shrine festival near the start of the series? It would be nice to see how would they go about it now.
Kinda shame that we already go to the winner reveal instead of getting some nice moments, but at the same time I understand that the sooner we get over with the contest the quicker we will get to the secret kissing room or whatever the "prize" was from the (melted) Ice Queen

Personally, I think the gen ed department will lose, but the president will have some classic manga bullshit "well ok I see your sincerity, I guess I won't ruin the lives of hundreds of students because of own personal brainworms."

I would prefer it if we instead got a 'gen ed department wins, president has to eat crow' sort of development. Not every villain in a school-based romcom series has get treated with kid gloves.
