@yurirei My take would be that they had just come back and told her the future isn't concrete so even just senpai being told he would cheat might change that future. Also the cheating hasn't even happened yet or none of the bad things so that doesn't feel real while she knows she loves him then for whatever reason. It's a very real thing for people to ignore advice from people that would know better and walk headfirst into bad choices.
