I know very little about nudibranch biology but I am curious if that's a normal part of their reproductive habits (like certain species of spider). Wikitime

Just a quote from a quick search on google 'Sea slugs are known to eat each other.'
I'm assuming this has something to do with it, however I am sure their is a lot more to the story.
Man I hope your MC makes it out ok.

Well... no surprise.

I still don't blame her, she was too emphatic during most of their interaction about being better for both of them to end e their "relationship" quickly.

She could be manipulating him so that he insists, but some of her reactions were... too sincere.

Even if she looks human, and can act the part, is pretty clear her race doesn't work the same way as ours.

I even think she let him go when she tried to eat him, with how by surprise she caught him, she could easily have killed him if she wanted, so left her instinct to take over a little to scare him so that he would learn his lesson... not going according to plan if it is that XD.

Mikane's dad is doing hi best, he is a good dad.

Well, at least our resident sea slug mermaid DID warn him multiple times to stay away from her

Calling them evil is missing the point and forcing a human centric view on it.
You know what true, they're kinda born that way. At the time I'm speaking from the human view point in terms of the the story.

If zombies became real we'd naturally call them evil even though they were acting on instinct.
