Yeah Jackalope in the music trials just let us do whatever, probably because there's 3 trials, assuming nothing goes awry (Haruka/Mahiru). I'm lowkey expecting a "judge Es" trial at the end of the project.

Since this isn't that clear in English:
The guy this Jackalope was reporting to in the beginning of this chapter (the guy on screen) is very heavily implied to be Youtube Jackalope. Speaks with the same mannerisms (including using Ore-sama to refer to himself), and with a very arrogant tone.
