It happens a lot more often in college level physics, where there's at least 3 different valid approaches to any given problem, but a single tiny procedural mistake can f#ck everything up.

Also high level (calc 2 and beyond) math.

It could also be her doing it in her head but not understanding the syntax (like a compooter) so she assumes the question is wrong but that's a heck of a stretch
